Bauer Homes, Ltd. is a full service custom homebuilder. We assist clients in all phases of the building process, from orientation on the lot to design to working drawings to actual construction. We try to give each client exactly what they envision for their home. Past clients tell us they love their home and the design concepts we brought to the table. Brad works hand-in-hand with the architect or home designer to make sure the placement of the home, and the way it works with the topography, affords the client the best views. We provide specific data that is required by homeowner’s association requirements or information required by city development review, such as hydrology reports and vegetation or environmental surveys. We have extensive experience in handling hillside and rocky sites, which have their own unique challenges. We frequently work with out-of-state clients, both during design and construction, so we understand with the unique challenges clients face in building a custom home in another state.

Brad and Sandy work together on each custom home. Brad personally handles the site supervision, coordination between subcontractors, scheduling and structural elements of the home. Sandy concentrates on working with clients on the finishes such as stone and tile selections, cabinetry, appliances, and fixture selections. She not only helps the client select finishes and color coordinate, but also oversees the actual installation with the tile setter, electrician, plumber and other subcontractors.

Brad Bauer first received his contractor's license in April 1981, and started building custom homes in the Tucson market in 1984. Over twenty years later, Bauer Homes is still "building fine Southwestern homes" in diverse styles, from Old World Tuscany to clean Southwest Contemporary, from graceful Mediterranean to casual Hacienda. We want each home to be elegant yet comfortable. Everyone wants a home that looks fabulous, but each home needs to be constructed with the individual client’s lifestyle in mind, making day-to-day living a pleasure.
